Sheriff’s detectives first learned Ibay was missing Wednesday, when his car was found abandoned about 1:00 a.m. in the parking lot at Gator Creek Preserve on U.S. 98 North in Lakeland. Ibay's car, a 1993 gold, four-door Subaru with damage on the driver's side door and window, remained in the parking lot through Friday, when Ibay's friends reported him missing. Deputies say he could be could be in Polk City, north Lakeland or Orlando.
